Perfect For Any Celebration

Thinking of throwing a birthday bash, bachelorette party, or planning a group outing? Party Cove is a favorite for all kinds of celebrations. Captained pontoons and cruisers are available to rent, often decked out with music, float mats, and plenty of space for swimming or snapping group photos. Just let your captain know your headcount, vibe, and ideal timing when you book—they’ll help you find the perfect route, calm coves for swim stops, and even recommend a dock-and-dine spot if your crew gets hungry.

Pro tip: For smoother water and easier boat parking, consider heading out on a weekday or getting an early start on the weekends. That way, you can snag the best spot before the main flotilla arrives!

  1. Boating season on Percy Priest Lake runs from April through October, with the most action-packed days falling between late May and early September. If you’re all about big crowds and wild energy, plan your trip around Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, or when CMA Fest takes over downtown Nashville—these weekends are the biggest parties on the water, and they book up fast!

Want a more laid-back vibe? Weekdays are your best friend. The mornings tend to offer calm, glassy water—perfect for a mellow cruise or a relaxing float before the music and crowds kick in. Afternoons bring warmer temps (great for swimming), but also a higher chance of winds and pop-up summer storms. So, whether you’re an early riser chasing sunrise serenity or a party seeker ready for sunshine and beats, there’s a perfect time on Percy Priest just waiting for you.

We love our pets as much as anyone else, but, unfortunately, we cannot allow them on our boats due to cleaning and safety issues.
